Quality development and quality assessment play an important role at FRÖBEL. The “National Criteria Catalog – Pedagogical Quality in Daycare for Children” (NKK; Tietze & Viernickel, 2016), in its revised and updated version co-authored by FRÖBEL, shows best practice. The quality of early learning at FRÖBEL is defined by a common orientation framework and emphasized by FRÖBEL Standards. These define educational standards that all children and their families will encounter when attending a FRÖBEL center. With internal and external evaluation methods as well as parent and personnel surveys we are able to track the progress of pedagogical quality and assess and develop the pedagogical quality at FRÖBEL.
